The Perfect Note How many times have we run across a superior piece of equipment and said to ourselves, "I wish I had known about this product sooner when it was more accessible, more affordable", etc? One of the things we enjoy the most at The Perfect Note is finding gear like that and presenting it to you early on, when it is affordable and accessible. Those of you that have spoken with us or have previously purchased equipment from us know that I get genuinely "jazzed" about gear that I believe to be a superior product, "the real deal." The people at Klon, George L's, Kendrick, etc. come to mind. It is my pleasure to present you the line of amps from Clark Amplification. These are certainly "the real deal!" These amps are built to '59 tweed specs, some of the finest sounding amps ever made. Each amp is hand made, one at a time, by one man, Michael Clark. Michael's philosophies that the choices and decisions that need to be made when building an amp should be made on the basis of TONE, not by cutting corners to save every available penny! This philosophy is evident throughout his entire amp line. Let's look at some of the standard features common to all of Michael's amps. Each amp is 100% hand wired, uses high quality components such as Allen Bradley carbon comp resistors, Belden cloth covered wire, CTS pots, Switchcraft jacks, and even NOS POWER TUBES! The cabinets are made of premium solid pine, and are finger jointed. Aged, lacquered tweed is standard. Quality speakers such as Celestion, Fane, reissue Jensen, and WeberVST are again, standard! Optionally, Michael will install vintage re-coned speakers by request! In many cases, custom "variations on a theme" can be arranged as well! While the quality level of these amps may be obvious to you, what may surprise you is the reasonable pricing for hand made amps of this caliber.
