Clark Special ™
Eighteen watt,
modified 5E3 circuitry, one twelve combo,
chrome chassis.
*This amp features a more modern channel mix configuration which allows for extended clean headroom in the preamp. There are two inputs a high gain and low gain input. The input is fed to both sides of the first stage preamp tube so that you mix the channels together via the volume controls for added tone control. The cathodes of the first preamp tube are separated to allow for different voicing of each channel, again more control of your tone. The PI uses fixed bias for a cleaner sound through this section. The power supply is also upgraded for extended low frequency response and does away with the usual low frequency looseness present in the original. Overall a more gig friendly amp.
